Simris Table

The Simris turns the usual table upside down: the top is 4 millimetre steel, folded down at the edges to a 40 millimetre rim and powder lacquered, and the legs are solid walnut, turned and set in from the corners by a hand's width. At 180 by 90 centimetres it seats six, and the folded edge gives it the look of a thick slab at a fraction of the weight.

Kust Design made it for people who put things down without thinking. Hot pans, wet glasses and homework all land on the lacquered steel without a mark, and the walnut legs take the warmth. The top lifts off for transport and the legs unscrew by hand.

Simris Table comes in Black Lacquer and Moss Lacquer.
