Colour: Black Stained Oak

Description

The Möja is square, 85 by 85 centimetres and 40 high, with a 20 millimetre solid oak top and a square edge. The frame is welded steel, 20 millimetres square in section, with legs at the four corners and a rail just under the top that keeps the oak flat. The top overhangs the frame by 3 centimetres on each side so the steel reads as a shadow line beneath it.

Studio Vreta drew the square for the room where two armchairs face each other across it, or a two-seat sofa sits on one side. It is small enough to walk around in a tight room and heavy enough not to be nudged. The oak is oiled and the steel powder lacquered.

Möja Coffee Table comes in White Oil and Black Stained Oak.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.

Buy one good thing instead of three cheap ones, and keep it.
