Description

The Mariefred is an oval table, 220 by 105 centimetres, with a 35 millimetre top and an edge softened to a half round. It stands on two A-frame trestles in the same timber, set 45 centimetres in from each end, which leaves a chair at each end with full legroom and three along each side. The trestles are joined by a single rail at floor level.

Tallkrona Studio treat the oval as the most sociable shape, since nobody sits at a corner and everyone sees everyone. The top is made of boards joined on the quarter so it stays flat through dry winters, and it is oiled so that it can be kept at home for the life of the table.

Mariefred Table comes in Oak, Smoked Oak and Walnut.

Made to be kept
