Ludvika Chair

The Ludvika Chair is a dining chair with the comfort of a small armchair. The seat and back are one upholstered shell in a boucle textile over moulded foam, with the back curving forward at the sides so the arms rest naturally when you push away from the table. The shell sits on four turned oak legs, braced underneath with an oak ring that stops the frame from racking.

Ljung Design intended it for long dinners and for homes where the dining table doubles as the place everyone ends up. The textile is removable with a zip along the lower edge, and the foam is dense enough to still hold its shape when the chair has been sat in nightly for a decade.
