Description

The Laholm is 140 by 80 centimetres, which is the smallest table that still seats four without knocking knees. The top is 25 millimetres with a rounded edge, and the four legs are set at the corners on a steel-reinforced frame so the full length is free for two chairs a side. At 74 centimetres high it takes any ordinary dining chair.

Eklund Möbler designed it for first homes and small kitchens, but it is built like their larger tables and will move house several times without complaint. The frame is pegged, not screwed, and the top can be re-oiled or re-soaped at the kitchen sink.

Laholm Dining Table comes in Soaped Birch and Oak.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
