Description

Kalix is the sofa for the room where people sit up. The seat is 50 centimetres deep and 45 centimetres high, which is close to a dining chair, and the back is upright with a thin, firm cushion. It is comfortable for coffee after dinner or an hour of conversation, and it does not swallow a person who wants to stand up easily.

The frame is oak, square in section and visible along the base and the arm fronts, with slightly splayed legs. The textile is a smooth wool with a tight twill. Kalix suits a formal sitting room, a hotel lounge or the far end of a long dining room. Designed by Karin Vik for Vik & Söner.

Kalix Sofa comes in Ivory and Navy.
