Description

The Furusund Armchair is an open oak frame with a back of eleven turned spindles rising from a shaped seat board into a bent top rail that continues down to form the arms. The seat board is carved to a shallow dish and carries a loose cushion upholstered in a plain wool textile, tied on at the back so it stays put. The legs are turned and splayed, braced with an H-stretcher.

Nordmark Snickeri make it as an upright armchair, for sitting with a book or a laptop rather than lying back. It weighs little and moves easily between a bedroom, a hall and a living room over the years. The oak is oiled and the spindles leave the chair open enough to see straight through it.

Furusund Armchair comes in Oak and Black Ash.
