Description

Ekeby is a corner sofa in one fixed piece, 280 by 190 centimetres, with a high back along the long side and a chaise with a low bolster on the short side. The oak plinth is 8 centimetres tall and runs around the base, which gives the sofa a solid footing without hiding the floor completely. Seat depth is 62 centimetres on the main run.

The textile is a corduroy with a fine rib that reads soft from a distance and holds its shape in the corner where people tend to sit most. Ekeby is for a living room with one good wall and a window at the end. Designed by Hanna Lindqvist for Lindqvist Verkstad.

Ekeby Corner Sofa comes in Ochre and Ash Grey.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
