Description

Dalarö is a lounge chair rather than a dining chair. The frame is a single bent steel tube that runs from the floor up to form the arms and back, cantilevered so the seat gives a little when you sit, without springs or mechanisms. The seat and back are one continuous sling of suede, stitched to a textile backing and laced to the frame along both edges.

Seat height is 38 centimetres and the back reclines further than a chair meant for a table. Dalarö suits a reading corner, the foot of a bed or the space by a window where one person sits alone. It is meant to be the chair everyone wants. Designed by Pär Brännström for Atelier Brännö.

Dalarö Chair comes in Tobacco and Slate Blue.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
