Description

Berga is a trestle desk for someone who spreads out. The top is 180 by 80 centimetres in solid birch, 30 millimetres thick, and it simply rests on two steel trestles with rubber pads at the contact points. The trestles fold flat, so the whole desk moves through a doorway in three pieces and sets up again in a minute without tools.

A steel tray hangs under the back edge for a power strip and the cables that go with two screens and a dock. The height is a fixed 73 centimetres. Over the years the birch top can be sanded and re-oiled, and the trestles will take a new top if the room or the work changes.

Berga Desk comes in Birch and Linoleum Olive.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.

Buy one good thing instead of three cheap ones, and keep it.
