Description

Telefonplan is a sit-stand desk sized for a spare room that is also an office. The top is 140 by 70 centimetres on a birch core with a solid birch edge, and it rides on a two-motor steel frame between 65 and 125 centimetres with three memory positions and a soft stop at each end. The motors are rated for continuous use, so standing and sitting ten times a day is what it is built for.

A steel mesh tray under the back edge holds the power strip and a dock, and a fabric sleeve on one leg carries cables to the floor. The controller is a slim bar under the front edge that can be moved to either side. Designer Maja Rönn gave the top a slight bevel so a forearm never rests on a hard corner.

Telefonplan Desk comes in White Laminate, Linoleum Olive and Black.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
