Finnhamn Coffee Table

The Finnhamn is an oval coffee table, 140 by 70 centimetres and 36 centimetres high, with a 25 millimetre top brought to a knife edge all round. It rests on a sled base of flat steel bar, two closed loops joined by a rail, set in from the ends so the oval overhangs on every side. The base has no feet to catch a vacuum cleaner.

Björnberg & Co drew it for the long sofa and the corner sofa, where a small table leaves half the seats without a surface. The oval has no corners to bruise a shin, and the knife edge keeps the long top looking slender from a seat. The steel is powder lacquered and the timber oiled.

Finnhamn Coffee Table comes in Walnut and Smoked Oak.
