Eksjö Dining Table

The Eksjö is a round table of 120 centimetres in solid birch, with a 32 millimetre top and an edge rounded over to a full radius so it is kind to forearms and to children passing by. Four turned legs are fixed to a ring frame beneath the top, placed so four chairs sit without crowding and a fifth fits when needed.

Eklund Möbler have made tables of this type since the workshop opened, and the Eksjö keeps that pattern. Birch is a dense, even timber that takes knocks well and shows little grain, so the shape carries the table. It suits a kitchen as much as a dining room.
