Description

Brunna is sold as a set of four modules: two seats, one corner and one open end. Each module is a birch box frame with a 70 centimetre seat depth and a low back, and they hook together under the cushions so the joins stay tight when someone sits across them. The base is a flat platform that runs continuously around the whole shape.

The textile is a heavy bouclé with a looped surface that hides the seams between modules. Brunna is for the family that wants to lie across the sofa, and for rooms that get rearranged with each move. Designed by Olof Vik and Karin Vik for Vik & Söner.

Brunna Modular Sofa comes in Cloud and Dark Taupe.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.

Buy one good thing instead of three cheap ones, and keep it.
