Description

The Borgholm is oval, 240 by 110 centimetres, with a 30 millimetre top worked down to a knife edge along the whole rim. Four legs splay outward from a central frame and are set well in from the ends, which means a chair fits at each end and three along each side without anyone straddling a leg. Eight sit comfortably, six with elbow room.

Designed by Henrik Vallmark for Björnberg & Co, it is a table meant for a room that is also walked through. The oval has no corners to catch a hip, and the base leaves the floor largely open. The top is oiled and can be refreshed at home for as long as the table is used.

Borgholm Dining Table comes in Oak, Walnut and Black Stained Oak.

Made to be kept

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
