Description

The Boda Lounge Chair is a low, reclined lounge chair built from laminated birch bent into two broad runners that form the arms, legs and base in one continuous line. A canvas sling hangs between them for the seat and back, and over that lies a full long-wool sheepskin, fixed at the top rail and loose at the foot so it can be lifted and shaken out.

Havsbris designed it for a corner by a window, where someone will spend an hour at a time. The birch runners flex slightly under weight, which is intentional, and the sheepskin is a natural one that will mat a little and then settle. It is a warm chair in every sense and a quiet one in a room.
