Bjurö Chair

Colour: Birch

Description

Bjurö is a plain chair that weighs under four kilos. The frame is solid birch, with round legs and four flat slats in the back that flex slightly when you lean. The seat is a woven textile tape, stretched across the frame in a herringbone pattern and fixed underneath, which gives a little under the body and stays taut for years.

Seat height is 44 centimetres and the back is low enough to slide fully under most tables. Bjurö suits a kitchen table, a desk or a hallway where a chair gets carried from room to room. It is the chair you buy four of and then two more. Designed by Mats Furuholm for Form & Furu.

Bjurö Chair comes in Birch and Black.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.

Buy one good thing instead of three cheap ones, and keep it.
