Description
Älvsjö is a desk with a hutch: a 140 by 70 centimetre solid birch top at 74 centimetres, and above it a steel-framed shelf unit 35 centimetres deep with two birch shelves, the lower one 45 centimetres above the top so a screen fits beneath it. The shelves take books, folders and a speaker, which keeps the work surface free of everything but the keyboard and a cup.
The steel uprights are 20 millimetre square tube and bolt to the back of the top, and a cable channel runs up one upright so a lamp can sit on the shelf without a cord across the desk. A slot in the back edge feeds the power strip under the top. It is a compact office for a wall, and the hutch comes off if the desk later moves to a window.
Älvsjö Desk comes in Birch and Black.
