Runmarö Coffee Table

Runmarö is a rectangular coffee table measuring 120 by 55 centimetres and 40 centimetres high. The legs and aprons are solid birch, joined with wedged through-tenons that are tightened by hand rather than glued, and the top is a 19 millimetre board held by four steel clips underneath. The clips make the top easy to lift off for a move or to change the surface later.

At 14 kilos it is easy to shift one-handed when the room is rearranged, and it tucks against a sofa without blocking the floor. Sund Furniture builds it in their workshop in Dalsland and sells the clips separately for anyone who wants a spare.
