Description

The Rättvik is a round table of 115 centimetres with a 30 millimetre top and an edge rounded to a half radius. A single leaf of 45 centimetres is stored in a rack under the top, and when the halves are pulled apart on their slides and the leaf dropped in, the table becomes an oval of 160 centimetres. Four sit around it closed, six open.

Eklund Möbler built the four legs on a frame that splits with the top, so the extended table stands as steadily as the closed one. It is a table for a home where people come and go, and it is made to be opened and closed thousands of times.

Rättvik Dining Table comes in Soaped Birch and Black Stained Oak.

Made to be kept
