Description

Rålambshov is a long desk for two people who work at home on the same days. The top is 200 by 70 centimetres in solid oak, 30 millimetres thick, with a 10 centimetre trough running down the middle of the back edge that holds two power strips and the cables for two screens. The trough has a lift-off oak lid so the top reads as a single surface when the day is over.

The frame is a steel ladder in 50 by 25 millimetre tube with a centre leg hidden behind the trough, which keeps a two-metre span flat under elbows and monitors for years. The height is 73 centimetres. Two chairs tuck under without touching, and the desk comes apart into top, lid and frame for a move.

Rålambshov Desk comes in Oak and Black.

Made to be kept

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.
