Ivö Coffee Table

The Ivö is made from one sheet of 3 millimetre steel, cut and folded so the top becomes two end panels that reach the floor, with no welds visible on the surface. The top is 100 by 50 centimetres and 36 high, with a folded rim of 30 millimetres that gives it the look of a thicker slab. The end panels are set flush, so the table reads as a single bent line.

Kust Design powder lacquer the whole piece in a matt finish that resists rings and scratches and is wiped with a damp cloth. It weighs eleven kilos and has no joints to work loose. It is a table for a hallway, a studio or a small flat, and it looks the same after ten years as on the first day.
