Description

Hallmo is a three-seater with a low, straight back and a seat depth of 56 centimetres, which keeps you upright enough to talk and read without sliding down. The frame is solid oak, left visible along the base and up the armrests, so the sofa reads as a piece of furniture rather than a block of upholstery. The legs are turned from the same oak and sit slightly inset.

The textile cover is a tight wool blend that holds its surface through years of daily use and can be removed for cleaning. Hallmo suits a living room where the sofa floats in the middle of the floor, since the back is as finished as the front. Designed by Ebba Hedlund for Studio Hedlund.
