Description

The Degerfors puts a 25 millimetre oak top, 210 by 90 centimetres, on two trestles of folded and lacquered steel. The trestles are set 40 centimetres in from each end, so a chair at the head of the table has legroom and the long sides take three each. The edge is square and the top overhangs the steel by a hand's width on every side.

Kust Design made the trestles to be unbolted in two minutes, which matters on a move or when the table is lent for a party. The steel is powder lacquered and the oak oiled, so each part is cared for on its own terms. It is a working table as much as a dining table.

Degerfors Table comes in Black Lacquer.

Made to be kept

Solid wood and honest joinery. Aino makes chairs, sofas and tables to be used for decades.

Nothing here is built to be replaced. The frame is made to last, and the parts that wear can be looked after instead of thrown away.

Buy one good thing instead of three cheap ones, and keep it.
