Liljeholmen Desk

Liljeholmen hangs on the wall and has no legs to vacuum around. The oak box is 90 centimetres wide, 30 deep and 50 high, mounted at a height of your choosing on a hidden steel rail, and the front folds down on brass stays to give a 90 by 55 centimetre work surface. Inside there is a shelf for a closed laptop, a slot for paper and a hole in the back for a charger that stays plugged in.

The oak is solid at the edges and veneered on a stable core across the panels, so the box stays square when the heating comes on. It suits a hallway, a landing or a bedroom wall where a freestanding desk would never fit, and it closes on the work in one movement.
